Eye Shadow Techniques – The Classic Techniques For Different Eye Shapes

Blend medium toned shadows with the darkened lash lines to the crease. By dipping the flat brush and pressing it on the lash line, the powder will make a soft rather than a harsh definition. To accentuate the eyes, apply a deeper shade of shadow applied on the outer areas of the eyes.

Flat-Crease Eyes – find the indention of the upper edge of the eyeball by using an eye shadow brush then brush with a medium shadow to create a subtle tone. Pull your lid and apply the lightest shadow on it just under the medium tone shadow. Fill the lid down to the eyelash line.

Apply darker shade over the lash line; start this from the inner corner outwards. Blend it evenly to avoid harsh lines. Take note that light shading will create depth in the eye crease and it will also make the eyes look more wide-open.
