Many women might have the wrong insinuation about putting on eye makeup: anyone can achieve beautiful eye makeup even without the use of eye shadow techniques – true or false?
The answer to that is false, of course. eye makeup application is not a game that you can just leave it right there whenever you feel bored and fed up about it. In the field of eye makeup, high regards should be given consideration as the eyes is where people will see you and I am pretty sure that you would not want to see people looking at your eyes with the wrong eye shadow. I believe that if you used the wrong eye shadow, your eyes would look ugly and unappealing.
So drop all the confusing terms in eye makeup and concentrate on the basic things which involves broad color palettes and skills. Definitely, you will surely have fun along the way.
Round Eyes – on the inner half of the lid, make use of a round tip eye shadow brush. This is important when you apply the lightest eye shadow color. Start the application from the lash to the crease.
To draw attention away from the eye’s center, dust the middle tone shade. Use an eyeliner pencil to draw lines on the outer and inner rims of both lids. Ti9s will give a stronger definition t the eyes. Take note that light and dark colors when combined together will elongate the eyes.
Almond Eyes – a straight edge brush should apply the dark shade; do this on top of the lash line. Apply it diagonally at the eye’s outer corner to create an upturn look. Blend medium toned shadows with the darkened lash lines to the crease. By dipping the flat brush and pressing it on the lash line, the powder will make a soft rather than a harsh definition. To accentuate the eyes, apply a deeper shade of shadow applied on the outer areas of the eyes.
Flat-Crease Eyes – find the indention of the upper edge of the eyeball by using an eye shadow brush then brush with a medium shadow to create a subtle tone. Pull your lid and apply the lightest shadow on it just under the medium tone shadow. Fill the lid down to the eyelash line.
Apply darker shade over the lash line; start this from the inner corner outwards. Blend it evenly to avoid harsh lines. Take note that light shading will create depth in the eye crease and it will also make the eyes look more wide-open.
